Future Simple Tense

The future simple tense is used to talk about actions that will happen in the future.

Formation

Subject + will + base verb

I will call you tomorrow.
She will arrive at 8 PM.
They will not come.

When to Use

  • Predictions: It will rain tomorrow.
  • Promises: I will help you with your homework.
  • Spontaneous decisions: I'll take the blue one.
  • Offers: I'll carry your bag.

Will vs Going To

Use 'going to' for planned intentions and 'will' for spontaneous decisions or predictions based on opinion.
