Comparative Adjectives

Comparative adjectives are used to compare differences between two objects.

Short Adjectives (1 Syllable)

Add -er + than.

Tall > Taller (He is taller than me.)
Fast > Faster (A car is faster than a bike.)

Long Adjectives (2+ Syllables)

Use more + adjective + than.

Beautiful > More beautiful (Paris is more beautiful than London.)
Expensive > More expensive

Irregular Adjectives

Good > Better
Bad > Worse
Far > Further/Farther
